The European Master in Disaster Medicine (EMDM) is part of an international coalition to provide disaster management education and training around the world and is supported by the World Health Organization, the International Committee of the Red Cross and several European disaster medicine organizations. The program is e-learning based program with a resident requirement based at the University of Eastern Piedmont in Novara, Italy and The Free University of Brussels. The Vanderbilt University is an associate institution within the EMDM program.
